Camping Gythion Bay is located 3 km. west of Gythion town, on the beautiful beach of Mavrovouni. Forty square meters of orange, olive, fig, and nut trees create a pleasant and shady environment. The wonderful beach of Mavrovouni is directly outside the camping area. The beach is 5 kilometers long and never gets crowded. The sea and beach are both very clean, which is why sea turtles (Caretta caretta) choose this location to lay their eggs in early July. If you’re lucky, you might see a mature sea-turtle emerge from the water to build her nest early in the summer, or her babies one month later.
Gythion Bay Camping has also a fully equipped with safety flooring and artificial lawn playground that allows parents to relax by the pool, bar, and restaurant areas while their children play and develop their motor skills.
