Camping Gythion Bay is 3 km west of Gythion town. You can go to the beach of Mavrovouni right outside the camping site. Beach: It’s 5 km long and never crowded. People choose this place because the sea and the beach are very clean. This is why the sea turtles caretta caretta choose to lay their eggs here in early July. In the summer, you might be able to see a mature sea turtle come out of the water to build her nest. Or you might be able to see her babies, which were born one month later.
Places for tents on the site have been set up in the shade of natural pergolas or under the shade of trees such as olive trees. The higher trees offer their shadow to the tents or the caravans. In this way, they make it look beautiful and natural.
Beach volley and ping-pong games are played at night among other campsites or between people from different countries.
