Check-in in a structure in the heart of Alba in a green setting

Upon check-in, you’ll be welcomed to an accommodation nestled in the heart of Alba, surrounded by lush greenery. You have a unique choice of staying either in a charming tree house or an authentic wine barrel where Barolo, our region’s renowned and prestigious wine, is aged.

The tree house, constructed entirely from wood, is perched 3 meters above the ground amidst tree foliage. It features a cozy double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a small kitchen, heating, and air conditioning. Additionally, it boasts a veranda, offering the delightful option of dining outdoors.

Spa in exclusive use

This sensory journey enhances the traditional Spa visit, making it more engaging and beneficial, complemented by the natural beauty of the Langhe. Enjoy the Barolo Sauna, Crutin Hammam, wine vat bath, wine tasting in the Panoramic Whirlpool, Great Farmer’s Sauna with Langa Herbs, Vat Dive, Green Room, Roero Lounge, and more, culminating in the enchanting ambiance of an original Yurt dedicated to Alta Langa.

Day 2:
Truffle Hunting
Embark on an authentic truffle hunting adventure with a professional ‘Trifolao’ and his loyal dog, uncovering the secrets and traditional techniques of truffle foraging. Learn about the growth conditions, locations, and reasons why truffles thrive in this region, and distinguish between white and black truffles. You’ll also discover the training process of the truffle-hunting dog and savor the rich aroma of fresh truffles. The journey begins with meeting your guide in Alba or a nearby village, followed by a trek through the picturesque hills to reach the ‘Trifolao’ at a secluded natural spot.

Wine tasting

The wine tasting will take place at a winery situated in the heart of the Barolo region. The guided tour starts in the historic cellar, exploring the winemaking area and the impressive barrels, then descends 12 meters into the ‘Temple of Barolo’ and the atmospheric ‘Infernot’ housing the family’s Special Reserves.

The tour continues through the ‘Tunnel of Barolo and Large Formats’ and concludes in the modern winery, completed in 2014.

Wines included in the tasting are: Roero Arneis DOCG or Langhe Bianco DOC, Verduno Pelaverga DOC, Barbera d’Alba DOC, Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, and Barolo DOCG.

Day 3:
E-Bike Tour and Picnic in the vineyard
Enjoy a relaxing day exploring the picturesque Barolo hills on an e-bike. Starting from Alba, the capital of the Langhe, you will journey to Azienda Agricola Fratelli Serio e Battista Borgogno for a delightful picnic amidst the vineyards of the LANGHE.

Self-guided visit to the Barolo Church

Constructed in 1914 as a refuge for vineyard workers during storms or hail, the Chapel of Our Lady of Grace, now known as the Chapel of Barolo, was acquired by the Ceretto family in 1970 along with 6 hectares of the esteemed Brunate vineyard. Although never consecrated, the chapel remains in this vineyard in La Morra, still owned by the Ceretto family.

This charming gem, nestled in the Piedmontese countryside and surrounded by vineyards and flora, is a must-see.

Day 4:
Trekking with a Private Guide on the Barbaresco trails

This scenic path meanders through the hills and renowned vineyards, connecting two of Italy’s ‘most beautiful villages’: Neive and Barbaresco. This walk through the Langhe vineyards is where the famous Barbaresco wine is produced.

The route links the charming villages of Neive, known for its clock tower, and Barbaresco, distinguished by its impressive medieval tower. This easy and relaxing itinerary lies within the ‘core zone’ of Piedmont’s UNESCO-protected wine-growing landscapes.

Visit to the Barbaresco tower

Barbaresco is distinguished by its massive medieval tower, the largest in Piedmont. From its summit, the view spans beyond the Tanaro river to the Langhe, Roero, Astigiano, Monferrato, and even the Alpine chain.

Once a ruin, the 36-meter-high tower, featuring 9-meter sides, two loopholes, and a unique 13-meter-high entrance, has been meticulously restored and is now a key tourist attraction. Built around 1000 AD to defend against Saracens, the tower stands at the village’s edge, made of brick on a sandstone base, reflecting Barbaresco’s medieval heritage.
