Elafonisos is the only island in Laconia. It is at the south-east end of Peloponnese. It is only 500 meters away from the other coast, and you can take a ferry boat from the port of Punta to get there. It is a great place for people who love nature thanks to its rare flora and fauna. In the winter, there are about 600 people living on the island. In the summer, when the island is a tourist destination, the number of people living there triples. The main reason for this, is that the island is known for its unique beaches with high sand dunes and rare sea waters.
The twin beaches of Simos and Sarakiniko are some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean with its clear and crystal waters.
Simos Camping is only 50 meters from the beach and promises to make your vacation one of a kind and an experience you’ll never forget. A tent, a towel, and a hat are all you really need. The sun-baked dunes, which can be up to 10 meters tall give off a feeling of summer fun and carefreeness.
The camping staff makes sure you have a good time by giving you high-quality services. There is a café-restaurant where you can eat and drink coffee, a mini market with everything you need, and bars where you can have a drink and unwind after a long day.
For the less fanatics of camping is given the choice of bungalows. Equipped quadruple rooms in the north of the complex with double bed, double bunk bed, WC-shower, refrigerator, TV, air condition, hairdryer and wardrobes. Towels and linens are included in the price. You can also make use of the shared kitchen and laundry.
If you dreamed of games on the golden-white grains of sand and coral shades of the sea, Simos Camping in Elafonisos is the best choice for your stay in the Peloponnese.
