The Simos Camp Site is only 50 meters away from Simos beach, which is the most popular beach on Elafonisos island. There, you can enjoy the beautiful colors of the emerald sea and the fine sands of the 10 meter-high sand dunes, which are only found in Greece.
In Simos Camping there are places for tents, campers, and caravans, as well as bell tents and bungalows for people who do not have any equipment.
The facilities and services at the organized camping site Simos are great and make it stand out. Some of these things are:
For people who like to ride bicycles, Simos camping also rents bicycles to explore Elafonisos.

a month agoIt's one of the most known campings but since the last time i came here ten years ago..it has totally changed.. i didn't like it. It is well organized and there are cleaners all the time.but it's much bigger than old one and full of young people that make noise. We stayed on a camp so we should wait for that..but not all day..even late at night. I was disappointed.

7 months agoI believe the most beautiful and comfortable beach I have been in Greece. The water is extremely clean and clear, and the beach is sandy. We paid 15 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella but it was worth the stay! Perfect for younger children because the water is very shallow.

7 months agoTerrible experience. I first visited this camping in 2008, and again in 2018. It was half the size and lovely. Since then they have expanded a whole new area that resembles a parking lot with shades and pebbles where you are supposed to set tent. No new facilities, so this whole new area is supposed to walk to a remote toilet and wait in line at any given point of the day. The toilets and rest of the facilities are filthy. Given the expansion of the number of guests and no new facilities the lines are endless everywhere and every single shared area is overcrowded, which are close to none as they have stuck tents in every possible area. The once amazing beach is overcrowded by vast amount of sunbeds. It is continuously littered by all the take away trash that is being served from the camping coffee bar and the camping does not even make the slightest intent to take responsibility for the garbage they and their guests generate. Never again! It is obvious they decided to be a moneymill without any regards for the impact they have on the surroundings!

8 months agoLovely in late June. Toilets and showers are clean, modern and plentiful for the amount of campers at this point in the season. No problems with noise. We would not want to be here in high season because the extended areas for sites look more like abandoned car parks and are far from the facilities. Until more shower & toilet blocks are built there and the appearance improved with planting as per the main parts of the camp it would not be a relaxing place to stay. If you can only go at that time of year then be realistic about your likely experience. Laundry is inadequate and overpriced compared to facilities at other sites. Reception staff are lovely. Appreciated the above honest feedback when they asked about our stay on check out. Talked about plans for increasing facilities in extended areas.

9 months agoThe camp is big and well organized, it has lots of shade, there is also mini market and shared kitchen facilities like grill, tables, which is great. The water is not drinkable (but you can buy plastic bottles in the mini market) and there was no soap or towels at the bathroom, for this reason I'm rating 4 stars. Small things matter We were there in pre-season and it was quite loud. Consider the fact that the camp is popular among young party people.
