Oiti Retreat
Overlooking Oiti and Giona, Oiti Retreat in Pavliani is one of the few holiday options available and enjoyable throughout the year. One of the top winter and summer destinations for relaxation but mainly for activities in the beautiful nature that surrounds it. An hour from the town of Lamia, in a green path, you will find yourself in the famous shelter.
In a chalet that accommodates up to 8 people in single beds, you can arrange your own unique holidays either romantic or creative with your couple, family or even your company. The area has a garden and a balcony with a view to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset between the plateaus, a kitchen equipped for preparing meals, a private bathroom and satellite TV.
In the shelter, guests are served hot and cold drinks, homemade sweets and snacks accompanied by drinks in the shared lounge and restaurant. You will also find local products of the region such as wine and honey from the producers of the surrounding settlements. In the area there are mountain maps and photo albums from groups that often prefer it for relaxation and the special experiences it provides to its visitors. Finally, you have at your disposal for rent all the equipment you may need for any activity you choose to follow during your stay at the shelter.
Activities
Adventure Park welcomes young and old for activities in nature with a separate park specially designed for our little friends who are under 14 years old.
Activities around the shelter include cycling and hiking in the pristine forests of the area with or without a session. In winter you can enjoy the white mountainsides of Oiti with free skiing and snowboarding, sleds and snowmobile rides.
If you have one more day, the artificial lake of Mornos is only an hour's drive from Pavliani. The route will reward you until you meet the turquoise waters that have been thirsty for years in the capital. In the new settlement of Kalli, at one end of the lake, you will see the ruins of the old village that sank due to water scarcity in Athens, one of its natural springs while with a visit to the chapel of Agios Georgios your eye can reach the dam of the lake.
