A brand-new campground in Bulgaria named Eco Camping Batak debuted in 2011. The campground is located on the picturesque lake Batak in the Rhodope Mountain, one of Bulgaria’s and the Balkan peninsula’s most stunning mountains, which is covered in centuries-old pine forests and numerous picturesque lakes, providing visitors with excellent panoramic views and conducive conditions for relaxation, active tourism, and sports. The campground is approximately 15 minutes by vehicle from Velingrad, the Balkans’ spa center, 1 hour from Plovdiv, and 2 hours from Sofia, the country’s capital.

The eco camping provides conditions comparable to those of traditional camping while also protecting the natural environment and the resources found within it. Eco camping Batak was created with the intention of providing excellent conditions for camping while having no adverse effects on the surrounding environment. We take great pride in preserving the natural environment.
