Camping Stavros

Rude and unpleasant owners. They made a scene because someone brought people into the camp without paying and blamed us for it without any proof. When the owner realized that she had made a mistake, we received a poor apology. It is also quite expensive. 42 euros for 2 adults and 2 children without electricity in our tent and in a place without shade. Their air compressor didn't work, but you have to buy a pump at the store (of course you have to pay for everything). Wifi work only at a reception. The beach is nice and the waiter in the restaurant is very pleasant. Cleanliness ok, but too few toilets for the size of the camp. In conclusion, don't go somewhere where you will be treated like a criminal, because everything else is for nothing.

Nice location with almost completely private bay. Though the campside lacks grass, its mostly sand/dust. The bathrooms are ok but old and could do with a renovation. There is a nice store and restaurant we havent tried because of some reviews we read. Kids racing around on their scooters and bikes on the stone paths until 11pm was a bit annoying. After one night we dicided to try our luck with another camping.

We were two families with LOTS of children (11 children total, ages 2-12). This was the cleanest camp we saw (and we checked out LOTS all over Sithonia). The bathrooms, kitchen-area, showers were ALWAYS spotless, as well as the entire camp in general. There was ALWAYS hot water in the showers and bathrooms with no limits. The camp was on basically a private small beach that is very quiet and beautiful, perfect for the children to safely play....and you access the beach directly from the camp (less than 30seconds walk) WITHOUT the need to cross any roads. The staff was always very helpful. The mini-market prices were not expensive and the restaurant was good, fresh and good priced. No regrets at all!

Very nice camsite with affordable prices. There is a shop, toilets, bath and everything you need, the host make sure all is right and clean. Nice sea and beach, and view from there, only one disadvantage is there could be a lot of people and the plots aren't too big. not too far from here you can find a good restaurant with seafood.

This is a review that I don't want to write. I'd like to say don't visit, it's awful, just so it won't be full next time we'll be there. But the truth is, it's everything you'd want for your Greece camping trip. Small but not tiny, everything clean and well maintained, all facilities for all types of campers are present, large alleys, good wind thru the camp for cool air, large spots, olive trees, good restaurant, decent market, quiet but with children's laughter, good beach with a mix of pebbles and sand, good sea - both shallow for kids and deep for snorkeling and diving-, nice sea fauna (we swam with a turtle in June), the owner is involved and present. We don't have a boat but almost all visitors come with one in tow. Simply excellent.
