Camping Petalidi Beach

would have liked to give the camp a better review, but the service was just poor. the camp has very outdated sanitary facilities, which is something that can be overlooked, if they at least offer the basics like toilet paper and soap. both wasn’t there, i know the struggle with toilet paper and camps, but they didn’t even try to provide. soap is a basic hygiene need, i haven’t had that struggle in any other camp ever before, just disgusting. the second thing was the bad service, we were pressured to leave (2 times) just an hour after checking out and just packing up our things at 12:30, saying that he needed the space we were occupying, even though there were at least 10 other spaces free, just like ours, saying this spot is reserved. just rude, if you need the space so badly at a specific time, totally fine, just set a checkout time and it wouldn’t be a problem. but to pressure customers to pack up faster, when the camp is basically empty, is not fair. the camp was put together thoughtfully, seems like someone really cared for it 40 years ago, it just needs a little love. also the price of 24€ is not appropriate in my opinion.

Ghost camping! very few residents, totally abandoned, minimal cleaning facilities, no toilet papers or soap. Unfortunately there is no beach at all, just a narrow dirt road outside the camping entrance, some rocks and then the sea. To the right way to many washed away garbages. There is also a very basic mini market and a tavern. Price wise: average camping prices

Lovely spot right on the beach. With nice places to camp at beachfront or in the shade between the trees. Very clean showers and toilets. Good utilised kitchen. Friendly people. Cosy restaurant and terrace. Strange that there are few people….

Very good and comfortable camping with many trees and shaded areas. It has playground, clean bathrooms and very good cafe restaurant with good food. The beach in front of the camping is a simple one. It is quiet enough, thee prices are reasonable the staff is helpful and polite.

The beach is very small with no actual room to sit comfortably. The bottom of the beach inside the water was some kind of mud and stepping on it felt like stepping on slime. Not recommended. The camping nearby was very beautiful and clean and the owner very kind.
