Facilities
The facilities provide you with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Electricity, hot water, shared kitchen with fridge, internet, minimarket and storage boxes are just some of the amenities you will find at your disposal. In the camp area there is also the restaurant and café-bar “Skepardies” with the possibility for breakfast or lunch of the day with traditional dishes and homemade flavors. You can also enjoy your drink in the evening overlooking the port of Katapola. Free parking is available on site for all campers. Of course, there is also the possibility of free transportation from the port to/from the campsite. The large outdoor areas as well as the possibility of staying for more than 2 people favour the stay of families in the campsite. The beach of Agia Anna – the most famous of the island for shooting the movie “Infinite Blue” – is only a quarter away by car. The beaches of the island are not all organized and this is the beauty of the place. So make sure you ask in advance so you can get organized properly!

6 months agoThe atmosphere is Nice, it's a relax camping. But I have to say the maintenance of the facilities are very poor, the toilets and showers are very old and they needed to be changed many years ago! because of this it doesn't feel confortable and hygienic. And the camping is also not pet friendly. I have shared my concerns with the lady in the reception.

7 months agoThe camping site is amazing! Bathrooms and common spaces are always clean and the restaurant and mini market have some good options for breakfast and lunch. Noise complaints I have seen in other reviews just vary depending on the people you have around your tent, so I wouldn't put that up to the camping. Also on a very convenient locations, since it makes the distances to everywhere shorter.

7 months agoBy far the best camping site I've ever been!!! I've been coming to Amorgos for seven years and the island along with all the amazing experiences I've had wouldn't have been as great if it wasn't for this place. Amazing people, great food, great prices and the most beautiful camping spot. I can't recommend it enough so if you ever consider visiting the island, you definitely have to stop by camping Kastanis.

7 months agoMy friends all stay at this place and they say it's fine, but I've never been able to join them because they don't allow dogs. It's a campground, not a 5-star hotel, the no dog policy doesn't make any sense. What can they possibly destroy?

a year agoIt's ok, nice place with nice view, very crowded by young people. The facilities are few so they can never be clean and you wait to enter as it cannot meet the demand. Personnel is friendly and they are doing their best.It's better than the average camping you meet in Aegean greek islands. Also parking is free but it's located outside the camping.
