The beautiful Mavrovouni beach is only a few steps away from the Camping Gythion Bay. The beach is 5 kilometers long and never seems to be crowded. Because the sea and the beach are so clean, sea turtles (Caretta caretta) choose this location to lay their eggs in early July. If you’re lucky, you might see a mature sea turtle emerge from the water early in the summer to build her nest, or her babies a month later.
Tents can be set up in designated areas on site, such as under the shade of the pergolas or the olive trees. The tents can take advantage of the shade provided by the taller trees. They create a beautiful and natural environment in this way.
Gythion Bay Camping it has a relaxing and calm swimming pool and a bar that overlooks the pool and the sea and provides a variety of refreshing drinks and cocktails.
