Are you a group of nature lovers looking for something special in your excursions? The Panhellenic Naturalist Association suggests you the Holy City of Messolonghi. The most historic city of the Seafaring and the Spirit. You will find yourself among the mountain range of Arakynthos (hiking, cycling, hang gliding), in the Lagoon for canoeing in permanently calm waters and for windsurfing in the Patraikos Gulf. Here we have the wonderful field of Varasova in Kryoneri, next to the sea and at the mouth of an underground river. The Mycenaean towns of Plevrona, Kalydona, Oiniades and the rivers Euinos and Acheloos will surprise you ! In the shelter of the Association (“Pension”), a recently renovated building about 400 years old (38°23’46.9 “N21°25’12.O “E.E.O. Antirio-Ioannina), you will sleep pleasantly and enjoy local dishes made to order.
