Enjoy the Hot Springs and Start Your Exciting Trek
Begin your adventure with an early pickup and drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After a brief stop in Calca, continue to the Lares hot springs for breakfast and a relaxing dip in the thermal baths. Next, drive to Cuncani, the starting point of our trek.
Hike to the Pacchayocc waterfall and cross the highest point of the day, the Willkikasa pass, before descending to the camp in Quishuarani. In the afternoon, explore the small community, meet the locals, and visit a children’s school. After dinner, enjoy stargazing before heading to bed for the night.

Immerse Yourself in Andean Culture Amid Stunning Scenery
We’ll start your day early with a hot drink and a hearty breakfast to energize you for the hike. First, we’ll ascend to the Pachacutec Pass, the highest point of the trek, where you can enjoy breathtaking 360° views. Afterward, we’ll descend for lunch.
Following lunch, we’ll hike for another two hours to our camp in Cancha Cancha. Spend the afternoon with the local villagers, observing their beautiful handicrafts and learning about their lifestyle. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and then settle in for a restful night.

Discover Amazing Sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas
Today, you’ll rise early to begin the final leg of the Lares trek. Along the way, you’ll encounter beautiful scenery and unique flora and fauna as you enter the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We’ll reach the small town of Huaran for lunch and bid farewell to our horsemen and cooks.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Maras Salt Mines, a unique sight nestled in the mountains. Afterward, we’ll head to Ollantaytambo, a charming Inca town, for dinner at a local restaurant before spending the night in a hotel.

Retrace Ancient Steps and Explore Historic Sites
Our Inca adventure begins today. After breakfast, we’ll board the train to KM 104 to start our hike. Our first stop is the archaeological site of Chachabamba, where you’ll get your first insights into the trail. On the way to Wiñay Wayna, an important Inca site, you’ll see waterfalls and numerous wild orchids. Here, you’ll learn about its history and admire the incredible structures before having lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll continue hiking to Inti Punku, the famous Sun Gate, where you’ll get your first breathtaking views of Machu Picchu. Then, we’ll hike to the Machu Picchu entrance and take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. You’ll enjoy dinner in a nice restaurant and spend the night in a hotel.

Today is the day you’ve been waiting for—your visit to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Starting early to beat the crowds, you’ll head to the citadel for a guided two-hour tour, where you’ll learn about the site and enjoy the stunning scenery.
After the tour, you can climb an additional mountain if you’ve pre-booked your ticket. You’ll then return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before catching the train to Ollantaytambo. From there, our transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco. It’s time to rest after this unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
