Our small glamping adventure is half an hour drive from Coimbra, and easy to access from Lisbon and Porto airports, in a region well known for it’s river beaches, monuments and natural delights. Our yurts offer the perfect base from which to strike out and discover some of the best cultural, historical and natural delights that central Portugal has to offer, and are a refreshingly different answer for those all important hours of total relaxation.
Our Green Man yurt is perfect for a couple or the smaller family and has a comfy double bed and two single sofa beds for younger children. Well equipped with a refrigerator and cooking/dining area outside including 2 ring gas cooker and all utensils, your yurt overlooks the woodland below and has private bathroom facilities with hot running water a few meters away.
The yurt is around 4.8 meters in diameter with hand-made furniture and set on a south facing terrace of fruit, oak and chestnut trees in a space that has been carefully developed over the years to get maximum enjoyment and benefit of our woodland surroundings whilst maintaining a low impact on flora and fauna.
Outside of the yurt you have a private veranda where you will find your cooking area and also that all important hammock and picnic table.
Our gardens include a trampoline and slack-line for children, and we encourage the fascinating variety of wildlife that our environment attracts.
Our closest river beach is 3 minutes by car which offers a smaller pool for younger children and has a café offering snacks and drinks.
Relax, lay back and listen to the hypnotizing and healing surround sound of mother nature.
