Day 1:
Cusco | Malaga Pass – Huamanmarca – Santa Maria (Biking, Rafting)
Feel the Wind Rush Through Your Hair
Your adventure begins with a 5:30 a.m. departure from Cusco. After breakfast in the Sacred Valley, we’ll continue to the Malaga Pass for a thrilling downhill biking experience. Feel the wind in your hair as you descend from misty mountains to lush jungle, with noticeably warmer weather. We’ll cycle to Humanmarca and then take private transportation to Santa Maria for lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll raft the Vilcanota River rapids (available from April to December), equipped with all necessary safety gear to enjoy this exciting adventure. In the evening, we’ll return to Santa Maria for a delicious dinner before heading to our lodge to rest and recharge for the next day.

Day 2:
Santa Maria | Santa Teresa – Cocalmayo Hot Springs – Lucmabamba Camp (Jungle Domes)
Experience the Heat of the Jungle
This morning, explore the lush jungle and learn about the local flora and fauna. You’ll visit a local family’s house to understand their customs and traditions. Next, cross a section of the Inca trail, discovering more about this ancient culture’s history while enjoying breathtaking views before stopping for lunch.
In the afternoon, travel to Santa Teresa, where you can opt for thrilling ziplining. Then, relax and soothe your muscles at the Cocalmayo hot springs, set in a beautiful location. Afterward, we’ll head to our campsite at Lucmabamba to spend the night surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 3:
The Road to Aguas Calientes
Wake up early to explore the jungle and visit a coffee farm, where you’ll learn about the process and sample fresh coffee made by the locals. Then, we’ll head to the incredible Inca archaeological site of Llactapata. Here, your guide will share the site’s history as you catch your first glimpse of Machu Picchu in the distance. You’ll have ample time to explore and take stunning photos.
Next, we’ll descend to our lunch spot in Aobamba. After lunch, we’ll head to Hidroelectrica and then make our way to Aguas Calientes. You can choose to take the train for an additional cost of USD 34.00 or enjoy a scenic 3-hour walk along the train tracks with the Urubamba River as your companion. Along the way, you’ll visit the Intihuatana and learn about its significance to the Incas.
In Aguas Calientes, you can rest in your hotel or explore the town before enjoying a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. Head to bed early to prepare for an early start the next day.

Tour of the Incredible Incan Citadel: Machu Picchu
Today is the day you’ve been eagerly anticipating—your visit to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Starting early to avoid the crowds, you’ll head to the citadel for a guided tour of approximately two hours, where you’ll learn all about the site while taking in the stunning scenery.
After the tour, if you’ve pre-booked, you can choose to climb an additional mountain. Then, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before catching your train to Ollantaytambo. From there, our transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Now it’s time to rest after an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
