Metaxata Park is located on the island of Kefalonia, a ten-minute drive from the city, Argostoli. The village of Metaxata has many beautiful beaches near it, only a 5-minute drive away. In our place, you will find a large estate of 15,000 square meters. We accommodate trailers and anyone who loves camping can choose the spot that suits them best within the park and set up for an overnight stay. The Metaxata Park has a large olive grove inside with various varieties of age-old olive trees. It has a water supply for its visitors and many large, beautiful trees, their shade is a breath of freshness for the summer. The scenery is captivating when you walk and see up close the beauties of nature, in such a nice green environment. It is flat, for very easy access to all points and it has a fantastic view of the beautiful castle of Saint George of Kefalonia in Peratata. A wonderful sight is also Mount Ainos, it can be seen from afar in all its extent, the big mountain of the island, it is full of the unique black fir. We are waiting for you to discover a unique natural wealth!

27/07/2023 at 2:32 pmWhat beautiful grounds we stayed on, Park Metaxata definitely delivered a great stay for my family and I. Mr. Apostolos, the owner of the park and who made us feel like we were family from the moment we pulled up, shared with us fresh apricots from his garden!! He and his family were very kind and accommodating. The views were amazing, and loved every minute of sleeping under the stars.
Helpful ReviewAt Park Metaxata, we were able to explore the grounds and enjoy the property from one end to the other. We were ten minutes away from Argostoli
(Kefalonias capitol) and great beaches to enjoy! Also Supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and restaurants were walking distance from our campsite! We couldn’t be more pleased with this property and can’t wait to visit again next year and see how much they will grow! Good luck and see you summer 2024!
