If you can’t wait to dip your toes, snorkel, or launch a canoe into those crystal-clear waters, the seaside resort of Supetar is only six kilometres away (a 10-minute drive) and easily accessible via the 113 road, which passes close to the site.

Beaches in Supetar include the sheltered Supetar plaža, with shallow waters for paddling and a water park at its northern end, and Plaža Babin Laz, fringed by vegetation and offering views of the mainland across the water.

Back at the campsite, this family- and dog-friendly spot may have few bells and whistles, but it is well-equipped with essential amenities, including a toilet block, showers, and a washing-up area for post-barbecue cleanup.

As for what to put on the grill (remember to bring your own), the site grows its own vegetables and fruit, so you can enjoy hyper-local produce, or you can shop in Donj Humac or Supetar.
