The Pelion peninsula’s distinctive and picturesque region is the ideal place to get away from the stress and commotion of city life and reconnect with nature in its purest and most beautiful form.
Pelion’s landscape is unlike any other in Greece, thanks to the combination of mountains and sea. It’s a spot where the shades of green and blue mingle to create a scene that will amaze and inspire you.
Pelion is made up of a diverse collection of villages, coastal resorts, and hamlets, each with its own beauty and charm, and all of which are worth visiting during your Pelion vacation.
Kastri, a small, picturesque village on the southeast extremity of the Pelion peninsula, about 68 kilometers from Volos, is a great location for people seeking the natural beauty, calm, and tranquility that Pelion has to offer.
“Kastri Beach Camping” is located in Kastri, and it is from here that we operate our Pelion campsite. Our campsite, which is open from May to September, is ideal for those who want to spend their camping holidays in Pelion.
Only guests who have booked can leave a review.

a year agoBe careful when you travel with a large camper as the road is very steep and we broke our back bumper. see picture. There's no sign on the road. We spent 2 nights there from 10-12 september. It was nice because it was already after-season and the restaurant was closed. We could enjoy the beach without hassle and our neighbours inside the camping were not too loud, but unfortunately it happens very often, that people do speak very loud late in the evening ignoring other campers sleep.

2 years agoWonderful campsite. Small in size but nothing really missing. There's plenty of shadow created by olive trees mostly. The bathrooms are plenty and very clean. The tavern is very decent with fresh fish and really efficient service. Lastly, there is a family feeling with everyone being helpful, kind and polite.

4 years agoGreat remote camping. The staff is very nice. The atmosphere is very calm and tranquil. The camp has its own private beach. There is also a restaurant and a small shop with all the necessities. The prices are a bit higher than other camps but is i well worth it. The are spaces for trailers, small and large tents. The view is also great, looking at the island of Skiathos.

3 years agoThe campsite is small and quiet. The beach is sandy, with fishing boulders at both ends. Wi-fi is in front of the campsite restaurant but not covered in the rest. The restaurant's prices are relatively low and the food is delicious, except for the spaghetti. All the staff were very kind and helpful. The toilets and bathrooms were extremely clean, although I never saw when they were cleaned. The staff was very discreet. There was hot water in the baths, including in the late hours of the day. The supermarket was not well stocked and was more expensive. The nearest supermarket is a 30-minute drive away. It was annoying to go to various mobile fruit and vegetable shops because they kept talking to speakers. However, all the fruits and vegetables were with perfect taste. I would visit this place again.
