There are many activities such as horseback riding, cycling, many water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, surfing, windsurfing, and of course countless enchanting hiking trails in the beautiful nature of the area for those who prefer a combination of holidays with action and sports near the campsite.

6 months agoToo expensive for what you get. I would only recommend staying in your own car/tent, if you book a bungalow with AC, it's 30€/night, whereas really nice hotels in the area are only 40€/night and give you about like 3x more value for money. You get a nice shower, privacy, TV, pool, nice comfy room, comfier beds, room service, sofa, and so much more. Note: AC made us unable to sleep, was quite bad. Without AC it was too cold in May.

9 months agoThe camping is OK. The restaurant is very good , everything was delicious. Showers & WC are clean. I took one star due to the tick that my dog get during our stay. I'm sure about that, it was on visible place on the head and it appears after our check-in.

8 months agoThis camping site is one of the best in Crete as well as in Greece. Very well organized, clean common areas. Literally, location is on the amazing Rethymno beach where you can sleep with the sound of the waves! Beach is fantastic with sand dunes ( gold sand) and clear water! Even there are caretta caretta cages on the beach thanks to Elizabeth Camping plus they have presantation night for caretta carettas every week. Breakfast is nice with small open buffet options and dinner was nice too at the taverna inside with sea view on the beach. Stuff is kind, campers are from all around the world which is great to get socialized. Prices are affordable. The only thing can be improved is renovating the showers and the kitchen appliances. There are so sweet cats and doggies around as in the pictures, pls don't forget to feed them in your visit!
