Are you looking for a serene, peaceful home in a pine tree forest? Do you enjoy sitting on the famous beaches of the Greek islands? Are you ready to discover hidden gems of history, like the secret Temple of Zeus on our tallest mountain, or the more famous ruins of the Temple of Apollo?
Only 500 meters away from the traditional village of Theologos on Rhodes, guests enjoy local village life. Experience the taste of authentic Greek food and wine as we have enjoyed it for hundreds of years!
This place is isolated from the noises of summer, but at the same time is close to everything. The hut is in a pine forest. The small forest with hammocks, communal area with shade of grapevines, and the summer breeze make the stay very comfortable.

6 months agoA fantastic and truly calming experience that will make you want to return. It is the most authentic place I have ever stayed in the entire Greece. This place is more than just accommodation. It is unique because it combines camping, meditation and yoga sessions (you can choose just the camping if you prefer). It is a fully-fledged experience for both mind, senses and body. You will stay in the heart of a quiet forest, and be serviced by professional and kind staff. You will have the opportunity to practice meditation and yoga with the absolute best teachers - and they will suit the sessions to your level.

7 months agoAbsolutely love this place. Perfect natural retreat with sunset ocean view and camping vibes. Ifigenia who runs it is so lovely and helpful. She will pick you up and drop you off to the airport for considerably less than the taxi price, she spent ages patching up my knee when I fell off my scooter, gave us watermelon when we were chilling on the last day. The rooms and amenities are clean, the shower has good pressure, the hammocks are heavenly to sleep in the morning in the shade when the temperature starts picking up. Would definitely go back again.

11 months agoI stayed two weeks at Drolma Ling and it was fantastic, really! After having spent the past weeks in Athens it was a relief to get to a quiet place only nature surrounding me. You get to see sunsets over the sea and have a beautiful view over the green hills of Rhodes and a wonderful view of a sky full of stars (I saw a shooting star in April! When does that happen? :p). The kitchen provides everything for cooking, there are two toilets and a nice shower...electricity in the communal area and in the bungalow :) Ifigenia, the host, is a darling, helping you out with everything you need (also booked a Thai-Massage with her which was fantastic!). thank you very much, will come again!

7 months agoThe first thing to say, I had the best vacation of my life on this campsite. It´s a small campsite located in a small forest just a few hundred meters away from the village Theologos. Absolutly wonderful for everyone, who likes nature and peace. I slept in a tent, that was already prepared for me, when I arrived. You will fnd a clean shower and a small kitchen, which is absolutely enough for the few people, that stay at the campsite. The beach is just a bit more than twenty minutes away from the campsite. Estimated ten minutes away, you will find a traditional greek tavern and a small supermarket. Now just a few words about the campsite´s director Ifgenia. She is an absolutely lovely lady, who puts a lot of effort into her business, despite her having a lot of health problems. If you need a transfer to the airport or from the airport to the campsite, she will just pick you up with her car for a few euros. She can also tell you a lot about the history of Rhodes. Now the most important thing. Because of the small number of guests (mostly auround ten people), you will become part of an incredible community very quickly. It´s was such a wonderful experience each evening to sit on the veranda together with people of all nationalities and talk to each other until midnight. To be accurate, it was the best experience of my life. You won´t experience this in hotel or anywhere else. I came to the campsite alone, with no friends and on the campsite I actually found friends for life, that´s more worth than anything else in the world. At the end I have to say, that my days at the campsite where the best days of my life. Maybe I will come again, some day.
