6 months agoThe operators of "Zora" run a hotel, a restaurant, a campsite with permanent and tourist pitches, as well as small and medium-sized rental bungalows. My rating only refers to the campsite and the bungalows offered. We have been to the "Zora" campsite several times within the last 6 years. The operator, who speaks very good English and is always friendly and helpful, has organized the site better from year to year. Extensive modernization measures as well as optical improvements were made. Fresh water connections, waste water pipes and sufficient power connections are currently available, all perfectly wired. Trees have been planted that will make up for the lack of shade for years to come. There is a small area with very good plant shade for campers with tents, a children's playground, wooden pavilions, permanent BBQ facilities and public fridges. A discounted breakfast is available to all guests of "Zora" in the associated restaurant. The middle area, starting from the sanitary building, is reserved for the mostly Bulgarian long-term campers and there is great cause for criticism here. Some of these people seem to assume that they have rented their right to noisy evening barbecues and binge-drinking, including their children, who were sometimes noisy until 1 a.m. Here it would be desirable if the operator from 11 p.m. at the latest made a tour of the control and ensured order. The pitches for the other campers are mostly distributed around the outer edges of the fence of the site. Behind the fence there are less frequented streets and sidewalks as well as houses and apartments whose residents can look at their plates. But they have a city and coastal pitch with a perfect infrastructure of shops and restaurants. The sanitary building has been renovated, showers and sanitary cells are cleaned several times a day. The fact that the hygiene in the toilet building is sometimes unacceptable several times a day is the responsibility of the users and not the operator. The shower water is heated by a collector, the available amount of hot water is not sufficient depending on the shower behavior. At least one washing machine is available in very good condition. The bungalows can be rented in different sizes. However, all of them have a sanitary cell with a shower and toilet as well as a boiler for hot water and a covered veranda with a table and seating. Standard and size are different. The prices are quite significant, but this applies to all places with regard to this city. I don't agree with the assessment that this campsite is too cheap for what it offers. Nevertheless, I think the prices are absolutely justified. But with a different reason: in contrast to the other campsite operators on the coast, Campin Zora is a place where investments have been and are being made from year to year. In this way he stands out in a very positive way from the general manner of expediency and the striving for purebred gain. The campsite is located right next to the center of of Obzor, which is very popular in the season, and has 2 entrances. The first entrance is to the south-west (GPS 42.823493, 27.878830) before the grocery store "Aldo". There is the reception and a car parking lot. The 2nd entrance for caravans and mobile homes that want to go directly to the campsite is north-east (GPS 42.824393, 27.880273) We are very happy to recommend this place with many thanks and greetings from Germany. 5 years agoNice site with friendly staff, in a garden setting amongst numerous apartment blocks. Facilities were generally clean but take your own bog roll. Our visit was at the end of season and very quiet. We were given a 10% discount voucher for the Zora restaurant which is very close by. The beach is no more than 100m from the site and very nice. Watch out for the jelly fish if you're going to swim in the sea after the end of Aug ... though they dont pack much of punch, apparently :)

7 months agoSuper cozy place. Great garden. The children playground could be more than 2 seconds swings and one slide with sand. Very big disappointment is that villas has not air condition... If u get lucky and your villa is under the big tree is tolerable, but if you're not under the big tree.... you can feel like a sausage. The beach is near, but is crowded. Keep in mind that there is a river a.k.a (dirty water channel) near the beach, which is going straight in the shore. But there is a lot of cozy cool and not crowded beaches in 5-25 minutes with car.
