Camping Sikia provides as a “home base” for outings and excursions to Pelion’s mountain villages and the peninsula’s beautiful beaches.
The camping areas are located along the coastline and in uniquely amphitheatrical locations with a panoramic view of the Pagasitic Bay and the lovely fishing village of Kato Gatzea, which is known for its magical sunsets. The shadows of centenarian olive orchards and a variety of other trees can be found. There are other areas designated for campers who require solar power or who use satellite antennae.
The sandy beach, the crystal blue, quiet sea, and the three unique rocky coves in front of the camp all draw visitors. The taverna Sikia, located by the sea and facing the hamlet, is the continuation of one of the area’s oldest and most renowned fish tavernas. Under the shadow of the old olive and plane trees, the guest can enjoy his meal in an exquisitely tranquil setting.
There are ten pleasant and attractively appointed double and three-bed rooms on the seafront, above the restaurant.
In addition, the campsite now has 17 new apartments on a terraced hill. The apartments “Sikia” offer a panoramic view of the sea and Kato Gatzea’s charming hamlet. They have all of the most up-to-date conveniences.

Honestly the best camping we have visited in all of our stays in Greece. We were able to place our tent on top of a hill with a stunning view on the sea and its surrounding mountains. Truly a magical experience. The camping staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and they care about the guests wellbeing and experiences. The food in the restaurant is delicious with a an additional 'dish of the day' menu, which . It's located directly at the sea and the atmosphere is very cosy. Around the camping there is some cute towns to visit with very nice restaurants. We especially loved the restaurants in the mountains with gorgeous views on the sea.

This trip was fantastic for my family and I! Since my father has been wanting to go for years, we were finally able to go this year. We've never made a better choice than this one. On the day we arrived at the campground, the friendly staff welcomed us and showed us to the apartment where we would be staying. We fell in love with the apartment the moment we entered it! There was everything you needed! Only a two-minute walk separates the restaurant and mini-market from the apartments, making it especially convenient for families with young children. The restaurant served delicious food and offered a wide variety of options. Another good thing about the restaurant it was located directly in front of the beach! It was especially lovely at night, particularly when there was a great sunset. My all time favorite thing about the area was that there were gates around the area. In order to keep things under control, there was also security during the night. My family and I felt very safe and secure. You didn't need to leave at all because everything you needed was within a 2-minute walk. It was all there.

Initially we planned to stay 1- 2 months here. We arrived in 2nd of April 2022, but we end up staying till end of September. It is heaven there. The camping is very well maintained and the facilities are very clean. We loved the camping very much, with 2 beaches right there. The place is pet friendly. The views are incredible to Kato Gazea village and also to Pelion mountain. The tavern there has delicious food. The ladies at the reception are very nice, very friendly and ready to help with recommendations and everything you need. We loved it there and will definetly come back!

Stayed here over one week, as pros; Definately the cleanest camping site in whole Greece to be honest even cleaner than Greek hotels... Good location close to the main ports, villages, beaches. It has pretty beach w clean waters along with sandy bottom. Great point for snorkelling if you like. It offers clean and not updated laundry machines, fridges, clean BBQ area, mini market and taverna( above avarage but could be cheaper) sunbeds under the olive trees over the sea etc... As cons; Free Parking spots are not enough on high season so you are left only one option to park your car outside of the camping site next to the camping site tho however since this is a camping site they should offer you "enough free parking spots" other than charging you 4.5 euro. Camping site closes its doors at 12.30 am at night so you can't enter in premises with your car which is not convenient in summer at all! Employees helpful "but" they are giving you the military camp vibes as watching you all the time which they should go on this smoother... Last but not least we arrived like 11 pm and we were told that we can't set up our tents down in the camping site since its late so we were provided a spot up at the parking spot area and the employee was like if you don't like you may go to the next camping(!) However as I've said, great location and camping site and absolutely will go again!
