Camping Sikia provides as a “home base” for outings and excursions to Pelion’s mountain villages and the peninsula’s beautiful beaches.
The camping areas are located along the coastline and in uniquely amphitheatrical locations with a panoramic view of the Pagasitic Bay and the lovely fishing village of Kato Gatzea, which is known for its magical sunsets. The shadows of centenarian olive orchards and a variety of other trees can be found. There are other areas designated for campers who require solar power or who use satellite antennae.
The sandy beach, the crystal blue, quiet sea, and the three unique rocky coves in front of the camp all draw visitors. The taverna Sikia, located by the sea and facing the hamlet, is the continuation of one of the area’s oldest and most renowned fish tavernas. Under the shadow of the old olive and plane trees, the guest can enjoy his meal in an exquisitely tranquil setting.
There are ten pleasant and attractively appointed double and three-bed rooms on the seafront, above the restaurant.
In addition, the campsite now has 17 new apartments on a terraced hill. The apartments “Sikia” offer a panoramic view of the sea and Kato Gatzea’s charming hamlet. They have all of the most up-to-date conveniences.
Only guests who have booked can leave a review.
