The Myrtoon Sea can be seen from Semeli Camping, which is situated close to Leonidion’s two-kilometer pebbled beach.

Semeli Camping is run with the utmost care and, most importantly, respect for the natural environment, ensuring that your stay is one to remember. Semeli Camping, surrounded by the enormous Parnona mountains and located next to the Southern Kynouria shoreline, is the best place to stay in Leonidion for exploring the “Natural Park 2000” of Parnona, as well as the crystal clear seas of the area’s pristine beaches.

Visitors can take advantage of the modern eating area’s high-quality services, as well as the cafeteria’s coffee and refreshments, which overlooks the Myrtoon Sea. Visitors can get their daily necessities and provisions at the Mini Market in the grounds.

During the spring and summer months, Semeli Camping is a perfect site for camping enthusiasts and other guests, but it is also appropriate during the winter months.

I have visited many campsites and i can say Semeli is one of the best on my list. It just has everything you need from a camping site. Very nice place to relax an unwined. Plus it is very clean, has great showers, useful kitchen and a nice bar. And great beach.

Reception 5*: Always available during the day. Check-in 5*: Day time directly at the reception, night time the gate is opened and it is possible to enter and park. Staff 5*: Super friendly, very helpful. Actively taking care of guests as well as the place. Toilettes / Shower 5* Inside of a dedicated building. Extremely clear, not damaged in good conditions. Separated to individual cabins, no “open space” concept. Hot water always available. Washing 5* Few washing machines and available. It is also possible to use drying machine. Parcels 4* Line 1: At the sea side but no sea view. Sandy ground, no parcels, parking spots mostly under high trees. Line 2: Regular rectangle spots along three alleys. Available sun protection for lower vans. Most of the parcels separated with green walls one from the other. Also available few spits without separation (for example for a trailer or common camping with two vans) Electricity 4* Available at the parcel. No three pins sockets. Internet 4* Good availability at Line2. Poor coverage at Line1. Sometimes breaks down and resets. Water 5* Available at the parcels. Gray water 4* Two spots for cleaning the gray water directly at the entrance to the camp. Chemical toilettes 5* Two cleaning points available. Restaurant Cafe located closer to the sea side. It was closed during my journey so no rating. Shopping 4* Small shop with beverages and daily articles available on reception. Bread deliveries on demand. Kitchen 5* 4 spots with electric plates for cooking. Refrigerators for common use onsite. Open space. Open space area 5* It is possible to sit at the tables (few available) under the roof nearby the kitchen area. Dish washing 5* Available next to kitchens, four spots. Hot water always in place, small dryers onsite. Garbage 5* Separate bins for segregating. Always clear. Surrounding 5* In the middle of the fields. Quiet. Next to the coast. Biggest positive surprise: it is a quiet place with good access to all facilities required at the journey. Things disappointing a bit: no parcels with sea view although the sea is located 5 steps from the van Would I come back: yes Can I recommend to others: yes

We had a fantastic time at Camping Semeli. The camp site is small and beautiful. It's perfect for people who want to relax, for families and for Germans who sit in front of their camper all day. There's direct access to the beautiful sea. There are umbrellas and loungers on the beach for free. You can order fresh bread every day for 1 Euro and there's a mini market. There's a bar close to the beach with drinks, coffee, frappe (2 Euro), Beer, ice cream and snacks. There are dish washers and washing machines. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can reach Plaka by foot via the beach (4min) and Leonidio by bike or car. We (both 35) + baby stayed there for 10 days and would come back again any time.
