Our camping location in Agia Anna/Plaka, Naxos, is lush and park-like, with bamboo roofs and trees shading each spot. There are no restrictions on where you may pitch your tent; you can put it wherever you choose. There are two shower and toilet complexes, all of which were completely refurbished in 2015 and have European toilets, inside and outside showers, and 24 hour hot water. Paper towels, soap, and toilet paper are provided in the buildings. There are two kitchens in the area, each with a fridge, a freezer, and several electric plates. Many of the camping spots offer an electrical outlet (prices are on our price list). You are welcome to bring your pet, but you must ensure that it does not cause any inconvenience to others. It should be peaceful after midnight, so have your parties or debates on the beach. Sleeping bags, mats, and rental tents can all be rented (see price list). On the camp, there are old chairs and tables to set in front of your tent (of course, if it’s busy, you’ll have to wait until someone departs and space becomes available again). The camp’s cafeteria/bar offers free WiFi.

5 months agoThis place has something for every budget. We used our own tent and tucked away at the back in the section where they turn the lights off at night. The fact that they even have a section like this is brilliant, all the other sites we've been to light the place up like the sun at night so it's hard to sleep. Facilities were clean, the kitchen was functional with loads of fridge space. The bar is lovely and reasonably priced with a daily deal on a meal and a drink. Mini Market is admittedly expensive but not so hideous that we avoided it. You're paying for the convenience. The beach is right there! You can't fault the location. And we have to mention the wonderful staff who always greet everyone with a smile. A genuine, relaxing holiday experience.

6 months agoLovely camping site, with lots of shade and space for various types of campers (families, couples, group of friends). WC and kitchen facilities were clean the whole time, which is the main reason for my 5-star. Beach is a 5min-walk from the site. Pet friendly and accessible to the disabled.

6 months agoWe spent nearly 3 weeks at the maragas beach and had a great time. The people are very helpful and the camping restaurant/bar made delicious food and showed sport events on TV every night. We like to come back in the future :)

7 months agoIt is actually VERY clean for a camping site and the public areas are cleaned multiple times a day. The people are generally very friendly. Lots of young people, but never as noisy as in other campings or hostels. Very good services and the owner(?) is a very lovely lady!
