Camping Kastraki is located in the ancient city of Asini, in the region known as Kastraki. It is located in the coastal region of Asini, with its vast Plaka beach, an oasis in the prefecture of Argolis, and is a popular tourist destination. The cyclopean walls of the Ancient Asini citadel, perched on a rocky outcrop near the sea, are directly adjacent to the campsite.
Because of its close vicinity to the castle, the campsite was given the same name as the surrounding area. Kastraki is a Greek word that literally translates as “a tiny castle.”
The camp is situated along a 200-meter stretch of beach that is composed of sand, small rocks, and crystal clear water. All of our flat fields are shaded by a dense canopy of pine trees, eucalyptus trees, and mimosa trees.
The settlements of Tolo, Asini, and Drepano are all within a one-kilometer radius of each other. Nafplion, a historical and attractive city, is only 10 kilometers away.

7 months agoNice beach, but this is the only advantage of the camping. The camping is not very clean, you have to pay to shower and staff is not welcoming. This camping is also cheaper than the ones around.

9 months agoNice camping and beautiful beach, but the sanitary facilities are not great. Small sandy pitches, flat and with a lot of trees and shadow. Not very full on a weekend in the middle of June. Quite a big mini market and a nice bar. The sanitary facilities are really a letdown. No toilet paper, no trash cans, badly maintained (for example, all the urinals and the wash basin next to it are all somewhat broken). And the shower costs 20 cents. What!? It would be easy to improve and make this a 5 star experience.

8 months ago- There is no toilet paper. There should be toilet paper in EACH toilet; it's simply a matter of hygiene!!! Wondering if it is even allowed by local laws... Will check... Dear owner, please think: Does your home toilet have toilet paper? - Showers cost 0.20eur for 8 minutes. What should you do when you are naked in the shower and the water runs out? Unacceptable!!! People pay about 8 eur per person per day (plus plus plus...) to deserve toilet paper in each toilet and a free shower!!! - There are no heating facilities in the kitchen, e.g. a microwave; it costs no more than a 100eur - Toilets need more frequent cleaning, they are dirty - Change the above and you will deserve 5 stars and great reviews :)

a year agoNice camping place directly to the sea. Much schadow Very nice lady at the reception But no shower on the beach. Shower on the camping about200 meters walking from the beach. for 0,20 eurocent also the cold shower. For a camping place around 30 euro's a missing factor. Beach bar gives boom boom music

a year agoGood location and kind people.. if I can give my personal feedback, I'd prefer to pay a little more instead of insert 20 cents for a shower.. But I confirm that the staff is nice and Tolo (the town close by) is full of good restaurants and ice-cream shops.. ;-)
