The “Kariotes Camping & Rooms” camp, located on the east side of Lefkada in the village of Karyotes, has been open since 1979. A 6-acre park with modern facilities and camp sites is surrounded by century-old olive trees and other shady plants.
The village is in an ideal location for accommodation in Lefkada because it is only 2 kilometers from the town of Lefkada and 300 meters from the nearest beach. The family company of Ioannis and Aristoula Livitsanos, Kariotes Camping & Rooms Camping, has been in operation since 1979. It is situated in a Lefkada region surrounded by ancient olive trees, cypresses, walnut trees, and eucalyptus trees that provide shade throughout the day.
The parking places encompass 6 acres, and there are contemporary sanitary facilities such as toilets and showers at the campground.
The big swimming pool, sunbeds and umbrellas, and the pool bar dominate the campsite’s center. Young and elderly alike can relax in the baths all day while the bar serves drinks, ice cream, and coffee.
You can have hourly meals created with superb local products, as well as selected cooked meals prepared daily, all in the same location.

6 months agoVery small, very basic but a nice camping. It is clean, the swimming pool is great and they speak a bit of English at the desk. Unfortunately you can hear the noise of the main road very well, as it is right in front of it. Especially in the morning when people go to work. Supermarket is close by, swimming in the sea is not that common over here and for more activities you have to drive a bit further.The camping has no view on landscape or sea. Lots of parcels are in the shade and under trees.

5 months agoNice camping place with a swimming pool. Sanitary is a bit outdated but clean. Nice shady places. Earplugs are advised, since it is close to a busy road (also at night). If you don't like cats than this place is not for you, they surround you when you are eating.

4 months agoThis camping is a gem! Stayed there two times- one on my own and the second with friends, because I was that content(and their impression was no different). Both times the welcoming was warm, the staff was polite, willing to help, flexible and doing their best to make the stay proper. The facilities and pool were always clean, the food they offered also was satisfactory(might I add, Ioanna made excellent cappuccino), they spoke English, the Wi-Fi was surprisingly good and the access to electricity too. The environment was friendly and safe. The only thing that is not entirely negative, but is worth mentioning, is that there are cats roaming around and one has to keep the tent closed. Definitely staying there the next time in Lefkada.

2 years agoCampsite is family owned and in natural state. No artificial pitches. Its in good shape but facilities are old. Sanitary is always clean. Pool also clean. Restaurant offers good food for reasonable price . We wanted to stay 2 nights but finally stayed 4 and used it as starting Point for day Trips.

3 years agoCamping Kariotes Beach is a nice little campground near Lefkada Town. There's shadow everywhere. It's a clean space with a pool and very friendly owners who sell very good homemade wine. It's very well located for daily trips around the island.
