Stoupa is located at the foot of the mountain Taygetos, with Ilias Profitis being the tallest peak in the surrounding area.

With the beaches of Kalogria and Stoupa, it is the ideal location for a relaxing vacation with a variety of activities.

Stoupa is the location where the true story of Alexis Zorbas, the subject of the popular novel by Nikos Kazantzakis, took place. From 1916 to 1917, he shared this residence with Zorbas.

Camping Kalogria was established in 1978 by Andreas Barbetseas. It is still mostly a family-run campground. His children, his grandchildren, and even his great-grandchildren are carrying on the family heritage in their own ways.

Camping Kalogria is located in a wooded area with olive trees and eucalyptus trees, close to the beaches of Kalogria and Stoupa, and is easily accessible by car.

Very nice staff and a nice overall experience. The fresh orange juice at their snack bar was the best orange juice I've ever tasted. It is also very close to the Kalogria beach, so if you don't have a car and you want to spend a few days at the beach, this would be a good spot.

The campsite is OK. Facilities (toilets, showers) are quite dated but very clean. I would have given it 4* BUT: the owner was quite unfriendly (not rude, just clearly didn't want to be there), the price is a little high (7€/person + 8€/camper + 4.5€/electricity, in low season), and the WiFi is barely usable.

This vacation we traveled around Greece and tried many campsites, believe me this campsite is one of those worth using. Nice campsite, plenty of space and privacy. Clean toilets and showers. There was a pleasant atmosphere in the camp. The owner is a very nice guy. We only stayed one night but we are saving this place in our memory and we believe it was not the last time we were here. Stoupa is a beautiful village. You definitely have to explore the cave on a paddle board like we did.

Good camping for its price. Has a lot of space, mainly camper vans. Toilets were clean but old. Also, we would like for the cafe to provide more freshly made stuff, like toasts or pancakes.

Toilets clean , site is ageing and in need of update, no kitchen which for campers is a problem, communal fridge rusty and smells, freezer requires cleaning out, Wifi unusable in most areas. Best suited for camper vans that are more self contained.
