We loved our stay on this charming campsite. We only planned to stay one night after arriving on the ferry from Brindisi but stayed two. The owner was kind enough to meet us here after we arrived late. There is a nice small beach and restaurant. Everything is well run, calm and clean.

The place is VERY expensive for everything and for what they offer. They charge 28e for tent+2 people/night. The same goes for restaurant and shop. The toilets and showers are clean but also old and lack renovation. I would not stay there again. Huge kudos to Makis who works there and gave us lots of useful info of Athens and was so helpful all the time.

If you are looking for a quiet camping with a wonderful view and a private beach, this is the place to stay. 🗺️ LOCATION: It is located in a charming bay close to Igoumenitsa. There are no other settlements in the immediate surroundings. However, the town of Igoumenitsa is a short drive (or ride) away (less than 10 km), so that you can easily reach the camping if you are coming by ferry, and you can find many facilities and shops within a reasonable distance. The bay is not overlooking the port, so you can fully appreciate the natural surroundings, without even noticing the many ferries coming back and forth to Igoumenitsa. It is also a good base to explore the region of Epirus. 🏕️ PITCHES: The pitches have good dimensions and shade. We stayed with a big (walk-in) tent: the pitch could accommodate both the tent and the car. However, if you want to enjoy more space, you can park at the camping entrance, as we did, which will be just a few meters away. Some areas of the pitches may be less shaded, especially in the morning or early afternoon, so having a tarp for extra shade may a good idea, as many people did. The pitches were clean and leveled, covered by soil or grass. There were no tree roots emerging from the ground and we could easily set up the tent. Some pitches are directly overlooking the beach, some are not, some could be described as being "right on the beach" (see photos!). The location may influence your view from the pitch but also your privacy, and you may want to consider both aspects depending on your preferences. 🚿🚽 SHOWERS and TOILETS: the facilities are a bit old but they are cleaned several times during the day. Unlike other campings, toilet paper, soap and hand paper is always supplied in good amounts. The WC area has some showers, but there are also separate cabins to shower, with more room to place your stuff, a sink and a mirror. Hot water is included and was always available at any time of the day and night, even when many people were showering at the same time and the camping was at full capacity (we visited in August). Unfortunately, this was not always the case when I stayed in other campings in the Mediterranean in the same situation. At least in the women sector, the showers were in good number and I never had to wait. There are also external showers if you just want to rinse yourself after swimming. ⛱️ BEACH: The private beach has very small stones that won't stick on your body and clothes, and yet are not painful to walk or lie on. There are no umbrellas or beach chairs provided by the camping but you can bring your own (or even just your towel, since it's so close to the pitches!). The sea is crystal-clear at any time of the day, and the colors of the water are stunning. You can swim in different shades of light green, turquoise and light blue. The water is warm and very calm, making it suitable for kids (also, since the beach is small, you can always see them). BONUS POINT (at least for me!): there are trees spreading their shadow to some portions of the beach. If you don't have an umbrella but you also can't resist the sunlight, you will always find a spot under their natural shadow. The beach is not receiving direct sunlight from 5pm due to the orientation of the bay. 🧼🧺🛒 MARKET AND LAUNDRY: There is a mini-market for buying basic items, food, fresh drinks and ice-cream. There are a fridge and freezer for the guests' own food, and a fountain with cold drinking water. There is a dedicated area with sinks in good number for washing cookware. There is a laundry area with sinks, washing machine and dryers. The coins for laundry can be bought at the bar. 🍴🍕🍺 RESTAURANT AND BAR: The restaurant serves good traditional food, both at lunch and dinner. We had our meals here several times. Service is efficient. Prices are slightly higher than in other restaurants nearby but you don't have to leave the camping if you have just come from your swim and you are not willing to cook. ✨ NIGHTS are peaceful, there is no loud music whatsoever.

Nice, clean and quiet campsite. They gave us place right above the beach. Good food in the tavern. (The pasticio is excellent)
