Camping Eko Oaza

Fantastic welcome when we arrived. The gentlemen that greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. He explained everything about the campsite to us and then sent us off to find a spot. After getting setup we were offered a free welcome drink (homemade juice or brandy). Great facilities on site, grey/black waste, water, etc. €14 without electricity, €16 with. Great location only 500m from the river and options for rafting to be organised on site.

Beautiful campsite next to the Tara river. You can await homemade bread for breakfast and you can even book dinner there, which is amazing local food. Bathrooms are ok and staff is super friendly. Be aware that you can pay cash only.

We didn’t stay at the camp but the owners were so friendly and let us take shelter during a thunderstorm. We had a nice coffee and continued to cycle the Tara valley after the rain had stopped. It seems to be a very nice place to also stay over night.

We had the good fortune to decide to turn around after driving by and stop here. Straight away we were welcomed by this wonderful family. From the delicious home made meal to the thoroughly pleasant and great service throughout. All essential services catered for and in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

Such a beautiful campground with such kind and helpful hosts! Great food, access to the river, amazing hot showers....everything you might need. Also nice to go for a hike to Zabojsko Jezero.
