Camping Caravan is excellent for all ages of families, couples and groups of friends. With close proximity to the main tourist and cultural sites and attractions of Crete, this resort combines the best of both worlds: sightseeing and beach. We are 30 minutes from Heraklion and 20 minutes from the airport.

The campsite is located on the outskirts of Hersonissos, close to the sea, with plenty of Oleander trees and vegetation for shade and seclusion. It’s a short walk to the main town with its natural waterfront, colourful fishing boats, taverns, restaurants, and stores.

Our restaurant at Camping Caravan offers a wide range of authentic Cretan meals at extremely reasonable prices. There’s also a welcoming pub and a mini-mart.

Camping Caravan hosts regular barbeques where you can meet other holidaymakers and join the family.

If you’re sick of sightseeing and the beach, try fishing. We can supply fishing rods and you are only a few steps from one of Hersonissos’ greatest beach fishing spots.
