Camping Argostoli is located in the Fanari district of Kefalonia, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the island’s capital, Argostoli.

Although the beach directly in front of the campsite is popular with families because of its shallow waves, it is also popular with fans of windsurfing and kiteboarding because of the afternoon breeze that blows across the campground.

The cool wind, as well as the shade provided by the numerous olive trees on the campsite, will keep you cool and comfortable during the scorching summer months.

The place is a disaster. There is no cleanliness at all. Premises are old and broken. In rush hours the water is just leaking. The behavior of the staff was impolite and they actually yelled us when we asked to bring us the food we ordered at the taverna after we were waiting an hour. I believe that they don’t even have the authorization from the Hellenic Tourism Organization to operate. Such a Disaster.

Nice camp, beach is right in front, one restaurant - with suprisingly yummy food - is part of the camp, other is not far away, and with clean showers. They have fridge, you can use. What I missed is toilet paper and some dishes, cuz I didn't come prepared.

No bread, no mini-market, no cleaning in the sanitary facilities. It's the only campground around and it shows. The place itself is pretty nice. It could be a lot better if they cared.

A wonderful place to camp. You can bring you own tent or rent one from the site. Site has lots of shaded pitches for your tent caravan or RV. It is just a 50 meter walk to Fanari beach with shallow warm waters. The on site restaurant (Fanari Restaurant dose a vast selection of mouth watering food. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
