It stretches all the way to the ocean and is roughly 200 meters from the main road. It is one of the largest campgrounds in the Peloponnese, however there is little shade due to the lack of tree cover.

Camping Ammos is located on one of the South’s most stunning beaches.

The Phoenicians Beach, located in the South Peloponnese, opposite the Oinoussai seagull islands, is a small marine paradise suited for exotic vacations.

Finikounda, a charming fishermen’s village with a wonderful market and, most all, a plethora of magnificent pubs by the sea, is the town’s heart.

Methoni, Koroni, and Pilos are only a few of the remarkable structures, mostly medieval, that can be seen in a few hours.

Since 2018, Ammos Restaurant-Café has been under new management, and it now offers a wide range of tastes for all of your meals throughout the day.

Great camping with nice beach. Owner is very nice and helpful. Camping spaces are quite big. Theres a great butcher in 5Min walk and in front of the camping is a nice farmer, which sells his vegetables, olive oil and olive paste.

It's a quiet and relaxing place to stay. There's a coffee-restaurant in the camping as well as a mini market. We stayed about 10 days. No problems with neighbors, no problem with noise. The sea is clean and the beach is big enough to cover 2 times the population of the camping. If ya find a nice spot under the trees then you gonna have one of the best vacations of your life. If not look better, this place is huge. + big place. We didn't need to make a reservation for a camping spot. + quiet. Really quiet. Good customers. + less than 5 minutes from finikounta. Super markets etc are really close to the camping and the prices are good. + the beach is really close from every spot in the camping area. +/- restaurant. I didn't really like all the meals, but as a French fried lover I gotta say, those FF where freaking delicious. - Hygience. Hmmm we camped close to the bathrooms/toilets so I must say that the cleaning lady were not really working. Even if she did though, they NEED at least 1 more employee/cleaner. As much as the lady works she can't be everywhere...

We had a nice spot and quiet as well. Toilets were not so clean more like so and so.The whole site was quiet overall.Nice location to visit Finikounta but a vehicle is required as it is located about a kilometer away.

Lovely camping with access to the beach, it's mostly suitable for camper vehicles but you can find some spots and for tents
