6 months agoThe camp is just outstanding. Definitely one of my highlights of our Albania trip. Astrid is such a friendly and helpful host. Wilson was a great hiking guide with lots if interesting stories. Write Astrid in WhatsApp. You'll find her number on Instagram.

4 months agoI found the camp by chance while on a hike in late autumn 2021. It was already closed but looked very comfortable. In 2022 I contacted Astrid to learned about the price of holidaying in one of their safari-tents. We exchanged some e-mails, I was welcomed many times, but never got an answer concerning the price of accomodation. I think, the camp was a project of Swedish development assistance to Albania and fullfilled its purpose by just being establisht as a theater stage for videos with showstars and politicans. Its definitly not built for generating income by accomodating individual tourists. Also I didnt find any tour operator offering stays in Camp Nivica. What a pity - and waste of swedish taxpayers money!

8 months agoIt would be nice if you respond to messages in IG or reservation enquries from your official web site. Really disappointing attitude. So much fuss for a business without basic customer service culture.

8 months agoAs others have said, refuses to answer DMs or website booking requests. Despite multiple attempts to contact. Doesn't bode well for the experience of those who actually manage to book a stay here...
