At the foot of the Khvamli massif (about 65 km north of Kutaisi), in the middle of a wild and romantic mountain landscape, this place offers everything, that nature and traditional Georgian hospitality can offer.
Here you can experience the extraordinary diversity of Georgian nature, such are: eagles fly in circles and wild horses drinking water from the river… You can enjoy the overwhelming starry sky at nights.
When designing this nature campsite on the outskirts of the village of Aghvi, great importance was attached to harmonious integration with the natural landscape, ecologically sustainable operation and a well balanced combination of nature and comfort.
The supply of cool, refreshing mountain spring water takes place directly from a source with a certified drinking water quality of 150 m.
The supply of electricity and hot water is ensured by solar energy panels.
The Aghvi Camping Team provides traditional Georgian cuisine. Fresh bread is prepared daily in the open kitchen, in a traditional Georgian oven. Georgian specialties and organic products such as milk, cheese, meat, fruit, vegetables and wine are produced by the residents of Aghvi village.
This exceptionally beautiful nature camping site offers its guests an open kitchen, covered terrace, common room, fridge, washing machine, 2 separate toilets, 2 separate hot showers, 3 sinks, a fire pit and several tables with benches in a shade.
At the 24-hour reception, built in traditional Georgian style, the Aghvi Camping Team offers guests advice and assistance, ice-cold drinks and a small assortment of daily necessities.
In addition the existing outlets can be used to charge devices powered by solar batteries.
