You are welcome to set up your own tent in our pomegranate garden. There are only a certain number of camping spots available, making reservations is highly recommended. The cost of the reservation includes use of the communal kitchen, sitting area, and bathroom facilities.
Flying Goat is the perfect place to stay during your climbing trip to Geyikbayiri. The camp is located literally across the street from some amazing crags, which means you can start climbing within minutes. The camp itself features a lovely terrace for your yoga and stretching sessions, a spacious kitchen that was equipped with everything we needed, an outdoor pool with spring water and a cozy lobby with a fireplace and lots of board games that is great to meet fellow climbers. The whole camp including the shared bathrooms was very clean. The owners and the volunteers also gave us lots of tips on the best climbs and what to do on our rest day. Thank you Fleur and Mümin, we had a wonderful time at your camp!
A joyous place to stay! The owners are super friendly, the dorm room is clean and cozy, all the facilities are well above expectations from an outdoor camp.
Convenient location (somewhat better suited for winter, as the nearest crag is south-facing and is too hot to climb in October).
I stayed here for 5 weeks to climb at Geyikbayiri. It was awesome. If you look for a cosy place with a great atmosphere, this camp is perfect. It is suits especially climbers who enjoy cooking themselves, because it has a well equipped kitchen. The lounge and terrace are just so beautiful to hang out and socialise with other climbers. It has a family feeling to it, because the place is small and I got to know all the other climbers staying there. The owners are great, interested in their guests and invest a lot of their time into bolting the amazing climbs. I would recommend all my friends to come here and I am looking forward to come back soon, hopefully.
I can say that is the best climbing camp I have ever been to. Huge common living room with joga mats. Big common kitchen with fridges. Nice pool to refresh yourself. Hosts are soo nice! Everyone is friend here! It is like big climbing family!
Outstanding. First trip to Turkey and could not have been any luckier with staying here. Initially we booked with JoSiTo but moved due to it being too big, feeling more commercialised and owners who seemed only interested as long as you pay them.
On the other hand, Flying Goat owners Fleur and Mümin welcome you into what is essentially their home, to live along side them and instantly treat you with warmth and respect. They are both super friendly and really went above and beyond what was expected to help us settle in and do whatever possible to make it an easy and comfortable stay for 5 weeks.
Max capacity in camp is around 30 people and many climbers stay for extended periods which results in a strong community vibe that grows over the time you stay. By the end of the trip you are really saying goodbye to a bunch of great new friends.
The atmosphere is super relaxed and the climbers are of all abilities - if you need a belay you'll get it! The location aslo is unparalleled being only a 5min walk from some of the best climbing in the region.
Bungalows are clean, cosy and aesthetic. Living area is spacious and warm with a big indoor fireplace and stunning views all around to the climbing areas and mountains across the valley. Kitchen and toilets are kept meticulously clean.
Movie nights on Wesnesdays.
If you need anything they can help: climbing recommendations, car rental, restaurants, taxis, guidebooks, buying climbing equipment, food, laundry etc.
Can't recommend a stay here enough. Look forward to seeing them next year!
